A Passion for Medaka
メダカへの情熱
Our mission is to preserve the cultural heritage, genetic integrity, and beauty of Japanese rice fish through education, ethical breeding, and community collaboration.
私たちは、教育と倫理的な繁殖、そしてコミュニティの協力を通じて、日本のメダカが持つ文化的な価値、遺伝的な純粋性、そしてその美しさを守っていきたいと考えています。
Lineage & Legacy
Celebrate the history of each strain. We honour creators (作出者), verify origins, and promote only traceable, high-fixation medaka.
Respectful Community
We foster mutual support and constructive dialogue—never criticism, gatekeeping, or negativity.
Ethical Breeding
We do not support selling medaka eggs.
Learn & Share
From beginners to seasoned breeders, our members exchange knowledge, share experiences, and grow together as a community.
No Illegal Imports
All medaka must enter the U.S. legally, with proper documentation and government inspection.
Tradition & Innovation
We preserve traditional strains while welcoming new lines—only when they come from verified sources and meet stabilization standards (60% fixation or more).
An Array of Resources
Through shared learning, ethical breeding, and showcasing beautiful strains, our community grows together in the spirit of medaka.
